It's common for finance departments, bookkeepers and accountants to ask for invoices and statements relating to advertising expenses and GST.
As a result, one of our most frequently asked questions is "how to download a Google Ads invoice."
This has been especially true since since November 2016 when Google Ads changed invoicing and added GST. Unfortunately there is currently no way to automatically have a tax invoice emailed to you every month.
So if you need to download your Google Ads invoice, here are some steps you can take to obtain your invoice:
- Login in to your Google Ads account
- Click on Tools and Settings
- Click on Billing Documents
- Scroll down until you get to the month for the invoice
- Download the blue link underneath Australia Tax Invoice
Login in to your Google Ads account
You can login to your account by going to https://ads.google.com/intl/en_au/home/
Click on Tools and Settings
Once you have clicked on tools and settings, a drop down box will appear.
Click on Billing Documents
Scroll down until you get to the month for the invoice you are looking for
After clicking on the drop down arrow to the right of the screen, you will be able to see links where you can click a link to download the Australia Tax Invoice as well as view the monthly statement.
